The Burren is top of the list of Irish walking destinations. Doolin is situated along The Burren Way, a marked and mapped walkers’ trail that takes you over to the wild Cliffs of Moher, leads you around by Poul na Brone, the dolmen marking an ancient burial place, and opens breathtaking ocean and island views to you along the way. There is truly nowhere more visually spectacular than this part of the Clare coastline. For flora enthusiasts, this is a must-walk trail. There are several plants in the Burren that are unique to the area.
